Welcome to the second annual open house in the nightlife of O'Owatna, a monthly gathering of local musicians, writers and artists. It is open on Saturday and Sunday from 5.30 pm to 7 pm and Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 6.45 pm.
The Minnesota Historical Society library is open to the public from 5: 30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 4: 45 p.m. to 5: 45 p.m. The meetings are also open to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 18: 00 to 20: 15 and on Fridays and Saturdays from 19: 25 to 21: 20.

The Austin Ladies Floral Club, founded in 1869 in Austin, Minnesota, by Esther M. Morse, is the state's oldest active women's club, according to Minnesota Women's Club History, a Foster book published this year.
